Kittyhawk is a company that is growing with locations in Garden Grove – CA, Canby – OR, and Albany - OR. We operate some of the world’s largest state-of-the-art Hot Isostatic Presses. We are processing parts for the Aerospace, Medical, Energy, Defense, and Firearms industries. 

Kittyhawk is hiring for a Business Development Manager in Garden Grove, California or Canby, Oregon. Our team needs the support of a detailed, energetic and eager person. 

The Business Development Manager will oversee and drive client engagement, revenue growth, and profit margins by connecting clients with Kittyhawk services. 

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Demonstrate timely actioning of leads, proposals and prospect pitch follow-ups
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
  • Use a consultative-selling approach, bringing together technical experts and partners to shape solutions to customer requirements
  • Structure and negotiate agreements end-to-end, from contextual understanding of business challenges to proposal design and pricing
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Train personnel and help team members develop their skills
  • Develop goals and business growth for the executive team
  • Establish and maintain customer confidence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or related field 
  • Minimum 6 years of proven sales and networking abilities, with a history of exceptional performance and results. Experience in high-value sales required
  • Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles, negotiation, and closing high-stakes deals
  • Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and market research skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Travel required

 Position is remote - Occasional reporting to the Kittyhawk office (Garden Grove or Canby) for meetings may be required. 

Salary: $80k-$100k depending on experience bonus plan
