Kitchell is seeking experienced and dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join our Ohio region in Columbus and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth-oriented building companies in the United States.
Kitchell Facilities Management provides integrated facility management services to VSP. VSP is a premiere optical insurance company serving clients across the world. In support of their company, we serve VSP's international headquarters campus in Rancho Cordova, CA., Manufacturing suites in California, Ohio and Texas as well as primary distribution warehouses in California and New York. In doing so Kitchell provides a fully embedded team of technicians and managers who handle daily hands-on preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in addition to vendor management.

This is a safety sensitive position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a variety of environments including mechanical rooms, office space and construction areas. Conditions occasionally include exposure to outdoor elements, hot/cold temperatures, wet conditions, noise, atmospheric conditions and cramped quarters. The noise level in the work environment is regularly moderate and occasionally loud.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, physical demands may include sitting, standing, lifting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, exposure to toxic substances, exposure to risk of electrical shock, keyboarding and viewing computer monitor requiring close vision. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 5 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Travel Requirements
Travel may be required up to 10% if requested.
