Kirkland Dental Office is Hiring a HR Manager Near Kirkland, WA

Job Summary:

We are a large group dental practice in the Kirkland/Bellevue area and seeking an experienced Office Manager/Human Resources Manager to oversee all operations at our clinic. Our office has been serving the community for decades and now has around 50 employees. Candidates must have experience managing a large team that had at least two levels of management. Dental experience is not necessary, but some level of medical clinic or dental clinic management experience is preferred. That being said, we are willing to consider all qualified candidates.

Our office is well-respected and well-known in the community. We are looking for someone who can take the helm; our office manager who has been with us for over 25 years will be retiring at the end of this year. We would prefer to have a period of overlap between the outgoing manager and the new manager. The position could start anytime between now and this upcoming fall, as we are more concerned about finding the right long-term fit than rushing the selection process. This is a salary position that pays between $100,000. and $200,000. annually based on the performance of the practice. The candidate must be innovative thinker who can find creative, mutually beneficial solutions to issues that arise in the everyday operations of a large dental office.

Duties include but not limited to:

-Managing all HR, including but not limited to hiring, firing, managing vacation/time off requests, unexcused absences or tardiness.

-Managing payroll and employee benefits, retirement etc...

-Holding regularly scheduled reviews with each employee, conducting disciplinary write-ups, making recommendations on staffing levels and or changes

-Creating and enforcing policies and procedures that will hold each employee accountable for their job and duties.

-Managing and updating the Office/Employee manual as needed.

-Ensuring department managers are performing as needed.

-Responsible for overseeing and handling all patient and employee complaints/ concerns, ensuring they are addressed, handled in a timely and professional manner.

-Responsible for facilitating conflict resolution between staff.

-Managing and cultivating an uplifting positive work environment and culture by creating fun, short-term incentive programs (when needed) and organizing staff events.

-Responsible for creating and implementing fun and innovative ways of keeping staff happy, excited and motivated about their positions and workplace.

-Responsible for coordinating and scheduling regular office meetings with each department to ensure smooth operations for each department and the office.

-Responsible for monthly meetings or as needed with owners/doctors to review systems, processes, KPI's (key performance indicators) and any other relevant issues.

-Recommending specific KPI's that you will be responsible for tracking and providing them to the Dr.'s/owners in an easily understandable format.

-Recommending future practice growth ideas with the owners, providing specific implementation plans and timelines for the recommendations.

-Responsible for overseeing and managing the schedule to ensure all departments/operations hit production and overhead goals/metrics.

-Responsible for managing all necessary compliance systems, implementation, and documentation including but not limited to: HIPPA compliance, WSHA compliance, Insurance compliance, credit card processing compliance, WA state department of health compliance/requirements, legal compliance, etc....

-Responsible for managing and overseeing all credentialing and re-credentialing for insurance companies, licensure of practitioners, employees and the clinic (as a whole).

-Responsible for overseeing and managing the upkeep, maintenance, and management of the entire property and facility.
