Kings Harbor Multicare Center is looking for full time PTA's to join our dyanmic, cutting edge Rehab department. Below are some of the job responsibilities:
§Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Certification by the University of the State of New York.
§New York State Licensure.
§Performs Physical Therapy treatments as designated by the licensed Physical Therapist.
§Assists the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals and selecting appropriate treatment techniques. Establishes rapport and maintains professionalism in administering treatment to patients.
§Records patient’s modality treatments daily.
§Documents on CCP, as indicated.
§Assist with chart audits as directed.
§Writes progress notes as appropriate and reviews notes and goals with the Physical Therapist.
