Job Description:The Director of Nursing (DON) assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of Nursing services in the facility. In collaboration with Administration, the DON ensures that the facility is in compliance with all Department of Health regulations and passes the annual survey process. Additionally, as a key leader of the facility the DON assists with the organization, development, coordination and direction of the Nursing Department as it pertains to all facility needs and requirementsJob Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license
• Prior DON experience is a must 
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in long term care as a Director of nursing 
• Evidence of strong supervision & leadership skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing long term care facilities
