A healthcare work in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in the Bronx as their new Clinical Director of Nursing, Cardiac & Surgery.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Director of Nursing, Cardiac & Surgery will be responsible for:

• Overall management of activities in a campus to ensure that quality, compassionate, culturally competent, effective and efficient patient care is delivered in compliance with the standards and regulations
• Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the scope of practice for nursing service staff, nursing professional practice standards and patient care outcomes
• Maintain standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement
• Actualize the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for Medical Center.
• Overall management of activities in a campus to ensure that quality, compassionate, culturally competent, effective and efficient patient care is delivered in compliance with the standards and regulations
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 7 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years of experience in a Management role
• Master's Degree in Nursing and/or Health-related field
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Skilled in the areas of Finance, Operations, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Human Resources and Computer Technology
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
