Assistant Director ofNursing (ADN) Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing Services inday-to-day administrative functions
- Make written or oralreports to necessary personnel
- Monitor and maintainthe infection control procedures and policies of the facility
- Participate in thedeveloping, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff development classes,training, and orientation
- Review and revise careplans and assessments
- Make rounds of thenursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel areperforming their work duties
- Monitor absenteeism tomaintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
- Maintain a liaisonwith the residents, their families, support departments, etc.
- Valid NYS RN license
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices,procedures, and regulations that pertain to long-term care
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
