We are searching for Human Resources Director of Global Learning & SCM/Operations - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position will lead global learning as well as serving as the Human Resources Business Partner for Supply Chain Management & Operations, spanning nine manufacturing and assembly plants in nine countries, and supporting 3,000 employees through partnerships and collaboration with regional vice presidents of human resources in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

The Human Resources Director of Global Learning & SCM/Operations will be working with cross functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget. Through partnerships and collaboration with regional vice presidents of human resources in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC and support from the Americas HR Shared Services team and Global HR functions, you will develop, implement, and deploy leading edge human capital solutions in such areas as talent acquisition and retention, strategic workforce planning, talent review/succession planning, cultural transformation, organizational and leadership development, performance management, and salary reviews.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the VPHR, Americas & Global Business Partner, and in consideration of the SCM/Operations business strategy, design, develop, and implement the overall Human Resources Strategy to assure attainment of business objectives.
  • Serve as a Change Champion in concert with the EVP Supply Chain Management & Operations, and the SCM/Operations senior leadership team while guiding the organization through a cultural transformation.
  • Utilizing local, internal talent acquisition resources, enhance the recruiting process for key, strategic leadership hires within the SCM/Operations organization.
  • Facilitate SCM/Operations leadership with annual salary review and performance management programs in concert and alignment with the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Global human resources teams.
  • Initiate, nurture, and sustain effective working relationships with the Americas, EMEA and APAC and Global human resources teams.
  • Ensure that effective employee relations practices are followed to assure a workplace that is safe, clean, respectful, productive, and free from harassment and any other prohibited workplace behavior.
  • Consult, advise, and collaborate with SCM/Operations senior leaders on a broad range of human resources related matters, including, without limitation, talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, mentoring, career frameworks, succession planning, performance management, salary reviews and leadership development.
  • Participate in selecting regional and global human resource projects and initiatives, such as best practice exchange with other manufacturing sites.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement and promote an organizational climate that aligns to and adheres to the Company’s values, Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, and all local, state, and federal laws.
  • 100% in-office, except for business travel.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science from an accredited, four-year, brick-and-mortar university, Masters, or MBA highly desirable.
  • 10-12 years of progressively responsible and successful human resources generalist and leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth, multicultural, multilingual, manufacturing or assembly operations. Proven experience as Training Manager or similar, at minimum project based.
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning and development, talent acquisition and retention, strategic workforce planning, talent review/succession planning, organizational and leadership development, performance management, and salary reviews.
  • Proven experience in partnering, collaborating, and fostering professional, productive working relationships with global manufacturing / assembly plant leadership teams.
  • Interest and ability to expand training and development experience for high technology roles, such as Cloud developers, cybersecurity engineers, and solution architects.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods and e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Agility to work independently, learn quickly, adapt even faster, and deliver results with a positive, upbeat attitude.
  • Results oriented with a sense of urgency and a bias for action.
  • Decisive, data driven and process oriented.
  • Embody a calm, flexible, can-do approach to high pressure, stressful situations with the ability to manage multiple, rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Experience navigating complex, confidential, sensitive employee matters with multiple stakeholders who have competing priorities to resolve conflict and restore calm.
  • English fluency required; bilingual with German or Spanish capabilities a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, spoken, and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and sophisticated HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors. Proficient in use of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally, as much as 50%, required.
  • Desire, ability, and willingness to maintain an office presence to collaborate and communicate with senior leadership and employee constituencies as the hybrid and work-from-home landscape continues to evolve.
