Job Title: Teller
Report To: Assistant Branch Manager/Branch Manager/Sales & Experience Manager/ VP – Chief Operations Officer/EVP/President-CEO
Classification Code: Non-Exempt
General Purpose
Receives members with friendly and efficient service. Listens for opportunities and asks the questions to determine members’ needs, refers members to MA to make a sale. Provides teller services to members and processes all types of teller transactions accurately (i.e., loan payments, withdrawals, merchandising items, deposits and answers questions).

Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent and a commensurate level of language, math and reasoning skills. In addition, two years of experience in a related field with similar responsibilities is preferred. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.

None.
Work Environment/Physical Activities
This position requires limited physical effort. Employee must be able to stand and walk for extended lengths of time as well as reach, stoop, or kneel, or to lift and move at least 25 pounds. The ability to read small print and color vision may also be required. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a degree of attention to details to ensure accuracy of transactions. Because of varying branch operating hours, a flexible schedule is required.
Job requires access to credit union’s network and core data processing system. Core system roles are assigned by Chief Operations Officer.
