Kind Goods is Hiring a Sanitation Specialist Near Lemay, MO

High Fidelity is led by a passionate and creative team of Missouri based entrepreneurs working in conjunction with a group of nationally recognized cannabis cultivation, processing, and retail experts. High Fidelity has been awarded licensing to operate two cultivation facilities, a manufacturing facility and three dispensaries. We aim to produce the highest quality medical marijuana and related manufactured/edible products at our state-of-the-art facilities which will be distributed to retail dispensaries in the St. Louis, MO region.

We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various areas including administrative spaces, post areas, greenhouses, warehouses, and yards. Responsibilities:

Front Office / Breakroom / Vestibule

  • Front Office Cleaning: Dust and wipe down desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture surfaces in the front office area. Clean and sanitize reception counters, telephones, computer keyboards, and other office equipment. Remove fingerprints and smudges from glass doors, windows, and partitions. Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
  • Breakroom Cleaning: Clean countertops, sinks, and appliances in the breakroom, including microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Wipe down tables and chairs to remove crumbs, spills, and stains. Refill soap dispensers and restock paper towels as needed. Sweep and mop floors to remove dirt, dust, and food debris. Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
  • Vestibule Cleaning: Sweep and mop floors in the vestibule area to remove dirt, salt, and debris brought in from outside. Clean and polish entryway surfaces, including doors, handles, and glass panels. Remove cobwebs and dust from ceiling corners and light fixtures. Ensure entrance mats are clean and free from dirt and moisture buildup.

Bathrooms:

  • Clean and Sanitize Surfaces: Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilet bowls, sinks, countertops, and mirrors to remove dirt, grime, and bacteria. Use appropriate cleaning solutions and disinfectants to ensure surfaces are hygienic and free from germs.
  • Refill Dispensers: Check and refill soap dispensers with liquid soap or hand sanitizer as needed to ensure continuous availability for users. Restock paper towels and toilet paper in dispensers to maintain adequate supplies for restroom users.
  • Sweep and Mop Floors: Sweep restroom floors to remove dust, debris, and loose dirt. Mop floors with disinfectant solution to remove spills, stains, and any remaining dirt or grime.
  • Empty Trash Bins: Empty trash bins located in restrooms and dispose of waste in designated dumpsters or trash receptacles. Replace trash bin liners as needed to maintain cleanliness and odor control.
  • Fixture Maintenance: Ensure that all bathroom fixtures, including faucets, toilets, and hand dryers, are in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
  • Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Replenish supplies as needed throughout the day to ensure uninterrupted availability for restroom users.

Post-Harvest Cleaning List:

  • Clean Tabletops: Thoroughly wipe down and sanitize tabletops to remove any residues or contaminants. Ensure surfaces are free from debris and spills to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Sweep / Mop Floors: Sweep all floor areas to remove dirt, plant matter, and debris. Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solutions to ensure they are thoroughly sanitized and free from any residues.
  • Clean Totes and Bins: Wash and sanitize totes and bins used for harvesting and processing. Ensure all containers are free from dirt, mold, and residues to prevent contamination.
  • Trash / Recycle: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • Dry Rooms Cleaned / Sanitized: Clean and sanitize dry rooms used for drying harvested products. Remove any debris, dust, or contaminants to prevent mold or bacterial growth. Sanitize surfaces and equipment to maintain a hygienic drying environment.

Greenhouse:

  • Dispose of Root balls: Remove and dispose of root balls from harvested plants, ensuring proper disposal according to company guidelines and regulations.
  • Cleaning Plant Benches: Thoroughly clean and sanitize plant benches to remove dirt, debris, and residues, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for plant growth.
  • Cleaning Underneath Plant Benches: Clean underneath plant benches to remove any accumulated dirt, plant matter, or debris, preventing the buildup of pests or pathogens.
  • Clean and Sanitize Pots: Clean and sanitize plant pots to remove any soil residues and ensure they are ready for reuse.
  • Sweep All Hard Surfaces: Sweep all hard surfaces, including floors, pathways, and work areas, to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Cleaning up After Production EOD (End of Day): Assist with cleaning up after daily production activities, including removing plant waste, sweeping floors, and organizing equipment and supplies.

Warehouse:

  • Floors Swept: Sweep warehouse floors using brooms, brushes, or floor sweepers to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Pay special attention to high-traffic areas and corners to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Trash/Recycle: Empty trash bins and recycling containers located throughout the warehouse. Segregate waste materials and dispose of them in designated dumpsters or recycling areas according to company guidelines.
  • Cleaning Surfaces: Wipe down and clean surfaces such as shelves, workbenches, and equipment to remove dirt, spills, and residues. Use appropriate cleaning solutions and disinfectants to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs.

Outside Property:

  • Pick up Trash: Walk through the yard area and pick up any litter, debris, or trash scattered throughout the grounds. Dispose of collected trash in designated waste bins or dumpsters.
  • Collect Cigarette Containers: Identify and collect cigarette containers or cigarette butt receptacles located in the yard area. Empty containers as needed and dispose of cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles.
  • Gather Loose Pots: Locate and gather any loose pots or plant containers left scattered in the yard. Arrange pots neatly or return them to designated storage areas.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicating any maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisors.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient completion of cleaning tasks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
