Kind Goods is Hiring a District Sales Trainer Near St. Louis, MO

Job Summary: As a District Sales Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the professional growth and expertise of our retail team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and evaluate training programs that elevate the skills and knowledge of our staff. From crafting engaging training materials to assessing performance metrics, you will drive a culture of continuous learning to enhance customer service, sales effectiveness, and overall operational excellence within our retail environment. This role will report to the Director of Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:

a. Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the retail environment.

b. Create engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, and multimedia content.

2. Employee Assessment:

a. Evaluate staff performance and identify areas for improvement through assessments and feedback mechanisms.

b. Implement strategies to address skill gaps and enhance overall team capabilities.

c. Conduct on site assessments and training of employees.

3. Compliance and Policy Adherence:

a. Ensure that training programs align with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

b. Keep abreast of industry trends and update training content accordingly.

4. Onboarding and Orientation:

a. Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, facilitating smooth integration into the retail team.

b. Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize employees with company culture, values, and expectations.

5. Continuous Improvement:

a. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the retail workforce.

b. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

6. Systems Maintenance

a. Be the lead with equipment maintenance in the stores. Ensuring all equipment for point of sale is functional.

b. Ensure parameters regarding the online menu are set correctly and fully functional.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in retail training, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and technology-enhanced training solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in training and development.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
