DataStaff, Inc. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Richmond, VA
DataStaff, Inc is seeking a Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA.
* The selected candidate will need to be onsite 3-4 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
- Responsible for the outcome of the assigned projects.
- Leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closeout.
- Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.)
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
- Experience in various software development methodologies.
Required Skills:
- 8 Years - Candidate MUST have PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA).
- 7 Years - Preferred experience with Agile.
- 7 Years - A minimum of 7 years of project experience in IT Infrastructure, Identity Access Management, Risk Management, SIEM, Software as a Service (SaaS)
- 7 Years - Experience managing large multi-stream and complex projects for successful completion of all project phases
This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
