Director of Sales - Building Products
Salary: Circa $150,000 Plus Package
Location: New York/New Jersey/Connecticut/Pennsylvania
We are working with a Global market leading manufacturer of specialty purpose doors. Specializing in bespoke solutions our client works with a range of customers including; Film studios, Movie Theatres, Museums, and Galleries, to name a few.
With a commitment to quality and innovation, they have established themselves as a trusted partner in the industry, delivering excellence in every project they undertake.
They are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to join their team. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales efforts across the North East Coast and wider US market working closely with Architects, Acoustical Consultants and Contractors to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
· Identify and cultivate relationships with Architects, Contractors, Acoustical Consultants and other key decision-makers within the film, entertainment, and cultural industries.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
· Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or a related field is desirable but not essential.
· Proven track network of Architects, Acoustical Consultants and Contractors within the Commercial market not Residential.
· Experience of selling a high value product on its features and benefits, not a price driven commodity sell.
· A network working with film studios, movie theatres, galleries and museums is desirable but not essential.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
