KETTLER currently has an opening for an Operations Manager that can be based in any of our core markets. This position leads operational success throughout the KETTLER portfolio in a primarily remote environment, however, it will require some travel to our corporate office and throughout the markets we serve. The Operations Manager, under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Community Operations, must have the ability to quickly adapt, assess needs, provide multi-site guidance and support, demonstrate excellent customer service, and excel in project management and property management software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand champion and subject matter expert in the KETTLER platform
• Lead by example and deliver a positive customer experience at every level of the organization
• Serve as cross-department liaison and “go to” for software system questions such including, but not limited to KETTLER Yardi platform, Updater, Renew, Contract Logix and newly piloted products that support property management operations
• Assist Regional Property and Service Managers in processing new contracts through CLX including but not limited to scope of work and bid-waivers
• Manage new team member access for various software systems to streamline efficiencies and further elevate on-boarding process
• Facilitate on-boarding for critical reporting/software related components such as the Orion BI tool and GRP reporting

• Serve as lead for all new products that fall under community/service operations to support New Products Committee and the corresponding successful pilots, implementations, adoption and training
• Set up templates in various community software systems to support efficient, customer-focused communication through tools such as Yardi CRM, Kipsu, Updater and others as needed
• Assist with desktop/remote audits to support targeted operational improvements and efficiencies
• Participate in Due Diligence file auditing virtually and in person, as needed
• Maintain community budget template enhancements and troubleshooting
• Maintain commission and bonus worksheets from design and creation to maintaining revisions and excel troubleshooting
• Manage all aspects of planning and execution of property management leadership meetings, internal and industry events, and awards to include venue coordination, registration, nomination process, KPI analysis, award ordering and distribution, and communication process in partnership with operations leadership and cross-department key stakeholders
• Assist with communication and payment processing for various industry/business related organizations such as IREM, AOBA, NMHC, BBB
• Maintain Community Operations organization charts
• Manage on-call and community office cell phone contracts, inventory and invoice processing
• Draft and manage operations communication and reporting for internal and external customers as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of residential property management leadership
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license
• A High School Diploma is required.
• A Bachelors degree in a related business disciplines is preferred
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong focus on Excel is required
• Extensive knowledge of Property Management software programs- Yardi platform experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability and proven history of success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with residents and internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner
• Proven history in project management and event planning is required
• Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management
