We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), and others. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data architecture to support our business needs and objectives.
Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture Design: Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance data architecture solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies.
• Data Modeling: Design logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and optimization.
• Database Development: Develop and implement database solutions using MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and other database objects.
• ETL Development: Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the database and ETL processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Documentation: Document data architecture designs, data models, and ETL processes to ensure comprehensive understanding and maintainability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and recommend improvements to enhance data management capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization.
• Proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
• Experience with other related technologies such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Analysis Services is a plus
• Experience developing solutions for Databricks, Snowflake or other warehousing technologies.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Microsoft SQL Server or related technologies is desirable.
