Job description

  • Responsible for managing all benefits programs in accordance with guidelines and applicable laws
  • Reconcile benefit invoices to process monthly payments
  • Works in collaboration with operations team on workers’ compensation cases
  • Work with outside vendors such as insurance broke and benefit carriers
  • Analyze benefits, programs and policies and make recommendations to management
  • Ensure accuracy of employee benefits data, including service from third party administrators
  • Develop and prepare communications to employees regarding benefits, claims, government mandated disclosures
  • Respond to all employees’ benefit inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, benefits eligibility, amounts of coverage, claims and all general inquiries
  • Respond to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts
  • Assist employees with carriers and process status changes
  • Responsible for ACA filing and the administration of FMLA and COBRA
  • Stay current on changing federal and state regulations and legislation that may impact employee benefits
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
