About the job:
Kent is looking for a Program Liaison/Coordinator to be based in Houston, TX.
You will provide support for seconded staff on multiple sites. You will need to organize and coordinate activities and ensure the completion of assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Approximately 20% travel expected with being present on-site at client locations.
Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate information and drive communication with seconded staff.
  • Serve as point of contact between corporate office and site-based sites.
  • Resolve any issues between groups.
  • Coordinate, manage and track onboarding, training, expenses, timekeeping, and other needs from seconded staff.
  • Meet regularly with seconded employees and their supervisors on sites, coordinate with home office functional managers, program project managers, HR and other departments to address assistances needed.
  • Organize and arrange events to engage seconded staff and promote one team mindset.
  • Regular report to program directors about status of seconded staff.
  • Present on-site at client locations approximately 75% of the time.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with exposure to project management or the following industries: construction, engineering, utilities.
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office.
  • Prior field work experience is an asset.
Communication:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Behavior/ Core Competencies:
  • Ability to perform responsibilities efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others and work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Willing to visit sites routinely.
