Under the supervision of the ACCESS Program Director, the Senior ACCESS Program Coordinator will support the management, operations, and implementation of ACCESS Harris County program initiatives. In conjunction with ACCESS leadership, the Sr. Program Coordinator ensures the efficient planning, execution, and maintenance of ACCESS Harris County programing according to deadlines, budget, and organizational policies and procedures. Provides assistance/support for coordinating administrative activities related to assigned projects/programs; event planning and implementation; managing the project/program logistics; coordinating meetings, educational activities, and other related events; developing and dissemination of program/project materials; communication for project/program; data collection, collating, and reporting; and the coordination of and/or development and maintenance of databases to support program/project activities. Additionally, the Sr. Program coordinator may assist in: conducting literature reviews to support project/program activities; and maintaining websites related to assigned project/program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination, management, and programmatic alignment of the ACCESS Harris County program
Plays a significant role in long-term planning, program status reporting, and ensuring that programming aligns with the focus area, HCPH, and County goals
Assists with managing invoices, budgets, and finances to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitments and expectations.
Assists with coordinating and developing contract proposals, Request for Court Action (RCAs), grant proposals, and grant reports for ACCESS Harris
Coordinates all ACCESS marketing, community meetings, care coordination team meetings, and communication tasks
Assists w/Monitoring and analyzing reports on the department's key performance indicators, program outcomes, and Harris County Public Health Strategic Plan goals to ensure progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary
Other duties as assigned, including special tasks involved in responding to an emergency event

Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience:
One (1) year of experience working in healthcare administration, public health, business administration
Licensure:
Valid Driver’s License (Texas upon hire)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Full-Time | Regular
Monday - Friday | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Weekends and evenings as necessary.
Expected to travel within Harris County jurisdiction.
Ability to work outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends)
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional visits needed to private residential homes, clinics, and other community organizations.
Physical Demands:
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some duties would require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and bending & standing for periods at a time.
Work Location:
Harris County Public Health (1111 Fannin Street, Houston TX 77002).
