Sales Representative

North Star Company is a premium roll forming company based in Gardena, California. We are in search of an experienced sales representative who can effectively generate new business as well as maintain our customer base. Initiating new business requests, establishing accurate quotes, and processing orders are all required skills to excel in this position. Candidates must be able to build loyal and long-lasting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities:

- accurate and efficient price quoting

- actively seeking new customers

- stimulating new business from existing companies

- establishing close-knit professional relationships with customers

- placing orders in thorough detail

- overseeing the status of existing orders

- effective and constant communication with customers regarding their level of business

- reaching target sales margins

Requirements:

- recommended bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution, business, or a related field

- previous customer service and/or sales experience

- knowledge of metals, metal/roll forming processes preferred

- ability to work positively and effectively in a collaborative environment

- excellent time management and organization

- strong communication skills

- proficient in Microsoft Office

- ability to work autonomously, confidently, and with drive
