Embodying them forms the basis of what makes for a successful employee at Kennebunk Savings.Scope of Work:Under the direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for talent acquisition and employee lifecycle activities of non-management positions while marketing the organization as an employer of choice. They will also be responsible for providing general administrative support for the HR Team by producing reports, staying informed on industry trends and compliance, and responding to employee inquiries. An upbeat and positive attitude, collaborative spirit and strong customer service orientation are critical to success in this role. Essential Functions (3): Responsible for designated talent acquisition activities:Independently manages the talent acquisition activities of non-management positionsWorks closely with managers to ensure understanding of applicant requirements and qualificationsEvaluates applicants and collaborates with managers during the interview processCommunicates and emphasizes the value of the Company’s compensation and benefits packageProactively sources, develops and maintains ongoing relationships with a highly qualified and diverse network of prospective talentWorks closely with managers and applicants to ensure hiring process is efficient, effective and consistentAssists with hiring, coordinating and tracking of all temporary and agency staffResponsible for designated employee life cycle activities:Ensures accurate and timely data entry of all lifecycle activities including: new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.Conducts stay interviews and provides feedback on trends, issues, and overall engagementCoordinates exit meetings and communicates important information to employees prior to their last dayMaintains and processes all unemployment notices in a timely, efficient mannerStays informed about industry trends and changes in employment laws and regulationsDepartment SupportWorks directly with the HR team to provide administrative support for HR programs and projects, including maintaining department proceduresEnsures compliance with federal and state labor law regulations, including the management of required Labor Law noticesProduces and distributes various reports and organizational charts according to predetermined distribution scheduleAssists with maintaining both paper and electronic files while adhering to established retention guidelinesResponds to employee inquiries and provides assistance on HR-related matters Other Duties & Responsibilities:Promotes the Kennebunk Savings Brand by recommending our products and services, supporting our community focus & commitment to being a premier employerUnderstands, supports and adheres to applicable organizational policies/procedures and state/federal regulationsConsistently emphasizes the importance of teamwork in the department and company at largeResponsible for keeping abreast of company news and informationResponsible for completing required training and policy reviewMay serve on various committeesWillingness to take on additional tasks and duties Desired Certifications & Licenses:SHRM-CP or PHR preferred Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Current knowledge of Human Resources employment laws and recruiting best practicesStrong background in managing recruitment and retention activitiesDisplays high level of regard for trust and confidentialityProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsDisplays strong written and verbal communication skillsDisplays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlinesDemonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detailEffectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problemsPrior knowledge of regulations within the financial services industry is preferredAbility to adapt to change Desired Experience & Education:2 years of related experience in recruitment and/or human resources activities preferredExperience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environmentHigh school or General Education Diploma Working Conditions & Minimum Physical Requirements:Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipmentLifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasionNormally seated for extended periods of time External and internal applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, or Maine/New Hampshire Human Rights Commissions, must be able to perform the essential job functions (as listed) either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined by management on a case-by-case basis. Reviewed and Updated 05/01/2024
