Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, with precision and artistry.
• Select and inspect fresh seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
• Handle and maintain sharp knives and other sushi-making tools with care and expertise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Interact with customers and provide recommendations on sushi selections.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditions.
• Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in sushi preparation, including rice seasoning and fish slicing.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to upholding quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Food Handler's Certification
