SUMMARY
The Software Engineer IV is responsible for contributing to technical research, analysis, and development of the U.S. Navy Learning Stack (LS) program. The LS is an Information Technology (IT) portfolio of software applications and productivity tools supporting the Naval Education and Training (NETC) mission, providing capabilities to manage and deliver training to Active Duty and Reserve Sailors.
The Software Engineer IV will be collaborating closely with Information Architects, Senior Developers, and Product Owners to address user needs, and working alongside Creative Technologists to ensure effective, functional solutions while preserving design integrity across all project phases. The Software Engineer IV is also involved in the managing and customizing of the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline with proficiency in an array of cutting-edge tools and technologies, encompassing various software engineering skills.

WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. Seeing up close, must not be color blind.
