Position Summary

PMA develops innovative and state-of-the-art tools in the domain of project management. We are seeking a skilled and innovative candidate who will contribute to the development and enhancement of our software products. In your role as a software engineer, you will be expected to architect, implement, test, support, debug, and maintain commercial product features. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and a cross-functional team to deliver on technical and business requirements. You will be a champion of overall product quality, performance, and success, with an opportunity to grow into a senior developer role.

Our Products

We have been developing desktop applications for over 15 years, including four tools that are used by our consulting division and are available commercially. Our customers belong to several Fortune 100 and top 10 ENR firms. Lately, we’ve been building a new platform from the ground up and will be launching it soon.

Our Team

We view software as a craft. We are a 9-person, non-collocated Scrum team in a mid-sized consulting firm. Our team follows Agile values to incorporate best practices in design, development, testing, and CI/CD processes. We are self-organizing, we choose what and how to build, and we frequently interact with our users to address main business-use cases and outcomes.

We seek applicants who are courageous, open, and honest, and who follow through on commitments, collaborate well, and share success with others. We love having a passion for learning and aiming high. We value deep knowledge but encourage generalizing specialists.
