Kansas Children Service League is Hiring an Administrative Director Near Topeka, KS

YOUR VITAL ROLE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

As an Administrative Director, you are an invaluable member of our human services team. Each time you're on the job, you are completely engaged in helping us develop a strategic plan to increase our foundation's endowment. To achieve this end, you build relationships with attorneys, financial planners, and other estate planning experts to promote charitable giving options to their clients.

A people person, you enjoy networking with these professionals and sharing our foundation's worthy goals. You also work closely with our CEO and board chairman to ensure that your strategic efforts with planned giving complement our foundation's other fundraising endeavors. As you work, you feel great knowing what a positive impact you're making on our community. Your job may be part-time, but the good you do is off the charts!

WHAT WE NEED IN AN ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, business administration, nonprofit management, finance, accounting, marketing, or public relations
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative position
  • Experience with planned giving, estate planning, or investments
  • Prior volunteer work in children's services
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that accommodates meetings and some travel
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and the ability to pass background checks

KCSL requires all employees to be fully vaccinated. Religious and medical exemptions are available.

YOUR SCHEDULE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

This part-time position works no more than 20 hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is necessary, and some travel may be needed.
