Kaney is Hiring a Program Manager Near Dayton, OH

Description

The Program Manager serves a key role within Kaney, driving continued company growth by directing the efficient execution of Research, Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. In this role, the Program Manager interfaces with multiple levels of the organization including the Kaney Executive Management Team.

Requirements

Major Responsibilities:

  • Interfacing with the customer to maintain alignment between customer expectations, Kaney activities and approved project scope
  • Tracking program performance to planned schedule and budget using EVMS and other tools
  • Managing program changes as they arise and adjusting planned schedule and budget accordingly
  • Being the connective tissue between Kaney departments such as Engineering, Accounting, Contracts, and Sales for facilitating communication and actions required for successful team project execution
  • Facilitating work with Kaney subcontractors
  • Use Kaney’s NPI processes and milestones to guide program execution from design to qualification and production
  • Create schedule, cost and resource estimates to support proposals for new Engineering and NPI activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related discipline.

Minimum Competencies:

  • Knows the business, understands the technology, and can offer competitive solutions to customers.
  • Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for multiple programs and multiple customers.
  • Ability to manage technical risk

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 practices.
  • Preferred Competencies:

Operational Details / Work Environment:

  • Travel to customer site may be required.
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required in some workspaces.
