In this position,your primary objective is to solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.The assigned market segment for this position will be primarily geographic (greater Detroit OR Cleveland) with a possible vertical market segment as well.
Previous experience selling in the target geographic market is required, including current relationships and a track record of established business and accounts in that market. A minimum of two years hotel sales experience is desired, with proven success in prospecting, developing, and closing group business.
