We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to work at McMenamins Bar located at 565 Broadway, Tacoma Wa 98402

Fridays and Saturdays

Start time between 5:30 and 6:30pm

4 hr Shift

Duties
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Conduct regular inspections of access points
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and clients as needed
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid security license or certification preferred
- Proven experience in security or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention techniques, and conflict management strategies
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures, including CPR and first aid
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
