This position is a contingency opportunity
The Personnel Security Specialist primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts.
The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
escorting facility visitors.
maintain personnel security files IAW CAF guidance.
Requirements :
Experience :
Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting a multi-level classified environment consisting of SCI and SAP activities; minimum 3 years or more of personnel security experience;
to include recent experience within last
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
Certifications :
Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training
Security Clearance :
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, willingness to submit to Counterintelligence polygraph, and eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
Other Requirements :
Compensation : The projected compensation range for this position is $59,900-$89,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
