The Clinical Supervisor is an integral team member in the behavioral health department. The Clinical Supervisor has a dual role within the Behavioral Health department – supervising and overseeing services of supervisee clinicians and coordinating various aspects of the services via agency collaboration and staffing patterns.
The Clinical Supervisor assists the Director of Clinical Operations with ensuring that the behavioral health programs are operating at efficient levels of quality and compliance. This includes ascertaining that individuals and families are benefiting from services, reviewing utilization as part of quality and compliance, ensuring appropriate and timely staffing for services and evaluating quality and compliance of clinical documentation. This Manager will also provide clinical training, support and supervision to staff and be involved in all aspects of clinical planning and processes for the Behavioral Health department.
Qualifications
Licensure is required as clinical social worker (LCSW), professional counselor, LMFT or licensed BSC. LSW would be considered with relevant experience.
Experience
· At least two years post-Master’s experience providing behavioral health services of a clinical nature to children and families.
· Two years of experience providing administrative and/or clinical supervision, providing feedback regarding documentation and work habits and investigating documentation, reports of no service, etc. strongly preferred.
· Experience working within community health settings and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), specifically within Intensive Behavioral Health Services (formerly BHRS) and Outpatient services with knowledge of all roles within these systems.
Skills
· Strong clinical knowledge and skills, including clinical interventions, assessment and formulation, etc.
· Understanding of CBH and state regulations for documentation.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
· Well organized with ability to be detail oriented in a variety of tasks.
· Computer literate in Microsoft Office, databases, electronic health records, data entry and the ability to learn new software applications as needed.
· Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
· Ability to generate, analyze and submit reports using a computer database.
· Valid Child Abuse (Act 33), Criminal History, and FBI clearances
· Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services
· Valid CPR and First Aid completion
