About the Role:

We are looking for a technical project manager to join our IT team and lead the development and implementation of various technical projects that support our business goals and customer needs. You will be responsible for defining the project requirements, scope, and deliverables, creating and maintaining the project plan and schedule, managing the project budget and resources, and ensuring the project meets the quality standards and expectations. You will also be the main point of contact for the project stakeholders, including the senior management, the IT team, the vendors, and the end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire life cycle of technical projects, from initiation to closure, following PMP best practices
• Collaborate with the project sponsors and stakeholders to define the project vision, objectives, scope, and deliverables
• Define requirements and document any changes to existing system architecture 
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports using project management tools and software
• Coordinate and supervise the project team members, assign tasks and responsibilities, and monitor their performance and progress
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, and communicate project risks, issues, and changes
• Ensure the project deliverables meet the quality standards and expectations, and comply with the technical specifications and requirements
• Conduct regular project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives with the project team and stakeholders, and provide timely and accurate project updates and feedback
• Manage the project closure process, including the documentation, evaluation, and lessons learned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field
• 3 years of experience as a technical project manager or a similar role in the IT industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex and large-scale technical projects
• Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, tools, and software (ClickUp, JIRA)
• Excellent technical skills and understanding of hardware, software, architecture, and development
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and handle multiple projects and priorities
• Experience in the pet food industry or a passion for dogs is a plus
