Tetra Tech has an immediate opening for an experienced individual to support Tetra Tech’s Irvine office Water/Wastewater engineering department in producing quality reports, specifications, technical memoranda, and other documents. The department consists of senior level executives, project managers, and engineers, each of whom will rely on this individual to complete a variety of work assignments, occasionally facing tight deadlines. Your Role:

§ Edit and format reports, specifications, and other professional documents (headers, footers, outlines, and appendices)

§ Proof documents for grammar and punctuation

§ Prepare documents for client deliverables

§ Organize project materials in the Company’s databases

§ Support managers and office staff with day-to-day projects and office administrative efforts

§ Manage work schedule to ensure timely and compliant submissions

Qualifications:

§ 3 years of experience in document production and technical writing

§ Recent experience and proficiency producing documents using advanced Microsoft Office Suite software is essential, specifically Word and Excel, as well as Adobe format applications

§ Strong attention to detail is essential

§ Strong organization and verbal and written communication skills

§ Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and sound judgment

§ Familiarity with the engineering consulting industry a plus

§ Desire to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment

Salary Range: $28-$38/hr. depending on experience.
