Job Description:

Are you a meticulous bookkeeper with a passion for supporting small to medium-sized businesses? JPS Business Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our clients' financial health by managing various bookkeeping tasks with precision and expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Categorization of transactions
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Accounts Payable (A/P) & Accounts Receivable (A/R)
• Analysis of financial reports
• Payroll processing & Payroll tax filing
• Sales & Use tax filing
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
• Software set-up and upgrades

Qualifications:

• Associate's in Accounting or equivalent experience (2 years)
• General knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
• Passion for supporting small to medium-sized businesses
• Exceptional client service skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Professionalism and confidence in all interactions
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with bookkeeping across various industries
• Clean credit and background check

Flexible schedule, up to 20 hours per week.

Ability to work remotely. MUST LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES

Salary $20/HR, DOE

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
