JPMorgan Chase is Hiring a Vice President, Lead Nurture and Marketing Automation Near Plano, TX

This Marketing role is focused on driving results through our US and Canadian inside sales channel by implementing lead nurture campaigns and lead funnel optimization. The ideal candidate will be a strong content marketer with experience in marketing automation, SMB (Small & Medium Business) marketing, and working closely with sales teams. 
The Global Small Business Organization – a division of Merchant Services -- is an innovative leader in serving Small Business clients through banking, payments and lending products and services. We take a client first approach in developing solutions that help our more than 5 million small business customers across the US and Canada to start, run and grow their businesses. We are a leader in the Small Business segment employing innovative product strategies, such as our recent launch of Chase Business Complete Banking with QuickAccept. Together, J.P. Morgan and Chase hold the #1 position in payments market share -- both in number of transactions and volume -- processing over $1.5 trillion in volume each of the last five years and over 50% of ecommerce transactions in the U.S.

Job responsibilities:

  • Launch and optimize lead nurture programs and experiments to increase lead conversion, and bring more marketing qualified leads (MQLs) into the sales funnel 
  • Develop content for use in content-driven lead generation and nurture programs
  • Form deep understanding of our sales funnel and customer journey, and develop recommendations to improve our marketing programs and how we bring products to market based on this understanding
  • Launch advanced lead scoring in partnership with Marketing Analytics, Sales and other functions
  • Closely track sales channel performance and present recommendations to achieve goals

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience managing B2B acquisition marketing programs, ideally targeting small and medium businesses (SMBs)
  • Previous experience launching and managing email automation programs, such as lead nurture campaigns
  • Experience with content development – You are an incredible storyteller and writer, who can take product, customer, and business information and turn it into compelling content and messaging
  • Previous experience working closely with inside sales teams – You are a relationship builder who can embed themselves into the sales organization
  • Hands on experience using Salesforce 
  • Deep experience with email marketing channel and email automation tools / platforms (e.g., Marketo)
  • Analytically minded with a natural curiosity and interest in experimentation and constant iteration and improvement
  • 7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Able to prioritize and collaboratively make decisions by getting to the root of what will drive the most impact and separating signal vs. noise
  • Experienced in working with creative agencies to develop outstanding content
  • Customer centric mindset with the ability to predict how customers will react to various content and messaging
  • Thrive in an environment that is one part big company and one part startup 
  • Lead scoring experience
  • Hands on experience with Marketo
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
