DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and test database components including packages, stored procedures, index, and types. Perform physical/logical data modeling. Responsible for data loading, export/import RMAN and database storage management. Drive and implement the database production releases. Write and develop applications in SQL Server. Migrate Oracle database structure and database store procedure and database application objects to 19c database from 11g/12c database. Work on Oracle Streams between Oracle and IBM DRDA DB2, and Oracle GoldenGate data replication technology for near real time data replication and for Near Zero Downtime Deployments. Work directly with development team, production support team, project management and business team on new database feature/functions, upgrades, and enhancements. Support production support community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Analyst, System Analyst, Database Architect, Database Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Design, development and implementation of database Applications; Database Administration in Oracle including Oracle Golden Gate Replication and Oracle Stream; SQL Server; Performance and Tuning of database applications; Software development; Edition-Based Redefinition; PL; and Modeling tools including ER Win and Visio.
