Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing the financial implications of various operational decisions, such as sales, products, shipping and warehouse management, and marketing strategies. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the accounts receivable processes, reconciliation tasks, project management related to financial and operational initiatives, and will be responsible for presenting findings to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze shipping data from FedEx and UPS monthly to identify opportunities for optimizing shipping rates and routes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in logistics operations.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of warehouse operations to identify areas for optimization, including inventory management, space utilization, and process efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate packaging materials to identify cost-effective options without compromising product quality or safety standards.
• Analyze sales channels to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies for maximizing revenue and market reach.
• Conduct product line analysis to identify high-performing products and opportunities for product portfolio expansion or consolidation.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including credit management, collections, and reconciliation, to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure.
• Evaluate marketing strategies and campaigns to assess ROI and effectiveness, providing insights for optimizing marketing spend and improving customer acquisition and retention.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations by setting up and maintaining accurate sales tax calculations and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, procurement, and/or sales reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and e-commerce operations is a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.
