Under the direction of the Controller, the Corporate Accounting Manager oversees all activities of the Corporate Accounts Payable Team, along with carrying out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company Polices. 

What Will You Be Doing?

• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directs and coordinates the activities of the Corporate Accounts Payable Team
  • Responsible for hiring, conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary measures, and terminations of staff
  • Assures that the duties and responsibilities of each job are clearly defined, effective, and communicated to the staff
  • Responsible for conducting a professional example for employees regarding performance, work ethic, attendance, and dress code
• Coordinates with staff to provide management with key financial data to drive company profitability.
• Prepares Payroll related accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Assists in development of annual budgets.
• Maintains and monitors the fixed asset depreciation system.
• Assumes other special projects and responsibilities as directed.
• Communicates and presents information to management, clients, and employees of the organization.
• Complies with federal and state safety regulations and with Company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, delegated, or required.

What Experience, Skills and Attributes Will You Need to Be Successful? 

• Bachelor’s degree, either a B.A. or B.S. from four-year college or university preferably in business, finance, accounting, or related field; with applicable experience and managerial experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Applications and accounting systems and principals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What Do We Offer?

Pay Scale: Accounting Manager, Exempt Level, Target Starting Salary Range = $85,000 - $105,000 (Actual starting salary rate will depend on chosen candidate’s qualifications)
