Maintain all related Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records of the Council including reporting of financial information in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP) and specific Council policies.

Telephone system support.

Serve as back up and responsible for all operations and functions of the Scout Shop (Trading Post) as needed.

Various office maintenance duties to help the Service Center function in an organized function.

Primary accounting duties; includes and not limited to repetitive motion on a daily basis for review and entry of Daily Transmittals into PeopleSoft General Ledger.

Process Accounts Payable by preparing, entering, and fully processing transactions through cash disbursements and posting to general ledger. Generate reports as needed.

Maintain purchase order system.

Work together with Jitasa on preparation of 1099’s and electronic submittal to federal and state governments.

Inventory control including ordering supplies for the council.

Maintain Friends of Scouting (FOS) records in Blackbaud including but not limited to input, reports and recognition. Generate reports as needed for Scout Executive’s review and approval. Generate thank you letters.

Product Sales Management for Rancho Alegre, Outdoor School, Atascadero Trading Post, Santa Maria Trading Post and Santa Barbara Trading Post. Popcorm records maintenance of unit accounts working with Trails End.

Correspondence with National Support Desk on trouble shooting software glitches.
