We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This role is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and resourceful individual who has a love for problem-solving, a passion for technology, and a drive for customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our advanced manufacturing solutions. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on a team, and is committed to exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Present company services and solutions to potential clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications and provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
  • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
  • Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
  • Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
  • Help in researching and developing new products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, specifically with experience in turbine engine manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in technical sales.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking on your feet.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and developing market trends.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
