We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing, reconciliations, month-end close, and cash transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by conducting regular reconciliations of accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage billing and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections
- Oversee cash transactions, including reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with audits and provide support as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in a GL accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with billing, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Proficiency in Excel, including vlookup and pivot tables
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification preferred
