Job Details
Jobot is partnering with a growing company located in the Denver Tech Center area to staff a position as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Manage the accounting services function for assigned practices including general accounting, payables/receivables, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly practice reviews, providing financial insights to business growth trends and profitability in assigned area.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for accounting/finance matters specific to assigned practices.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to assigned practice needs and objectives.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Ensure the practice's accounting processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information.
• Evaluate current accounting processes and procedures and makes improvements while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Use computer software for research, audit, and analysis of clinical and business data to help identify and understand opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
• Investigate and resolve anomalies and unusual trends.
• Assist with preparation of schedules for audited financial statements.
• Prepare, analyze, and present recommendations on financial forecasts, future trends, and the impact to operational goals and objectives impacting both short- and long-term financial objectives.
• Manage the accounting and reporting of contracts and revenue for all offices in accordance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Develop an understanding of operations and software and bridges the gap between operational production and financial statement production.
• Continue to develop and improve ortho KPIs and P&Ls.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial statements to operations.
• Assist with the conversion and implementation of new accounting software as needed

If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Similar (CPA preferred), 4 years of progressive, full cycle accounting experience, have worked within a multi-entity accounting environment, are tech savvy and posses strong Excel skills, thrive in a fast paced and detail oriented environment, are kind, personable, supportive and collaborative as well as having a desire to learn and grow than this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
