The Engineering Manager provides management review and control over engineering work, including development of projects, structures, or processes as part of multiple major engineering programs. This managerial position usually integrates several specialized areas of engineering to serve a particular business unit. In addition to managerial tasks, this individual also demonstrates authoritative technical leadership with creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment as they anticipate and direct solutions to unprecedented engineering problems. This individual is often at the forefront of customer and supplier interactions essential to the success of the business. This individual supports the Engineering department through mechanical or electrical engineering of assemblies, components, and test equipment of aerospace restraint systems.
