Job Details:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our thriving construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. This role is perfect for a dynamic, self-motivated professional with a strong background in commercial electrical project management. If you're a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing large-scale electrical projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all phases of electrical projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing project schedules, resource allocation charts, cost estimates, and other relevant project details.
3. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless execution of projects, addressing any issues or obstacles promptly.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Lead project meetings, providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and upper management.
6. Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
7. Continuously assess and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate solutions when needed.
8. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects project status.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial electrical project management.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
