Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing them with exceptional service and expert advice. You will play a key role in the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring our clients' needs are met and business opportunities are maximized.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
2. Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
3. Analyzing policy proposals and renewals to ensure they meet client requirements and align with industry standards.
4. Facilitating the endorsement process, ensuring all policy changes are accurately reflected and communicated to clients.
5. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of commercial insurance, including property and casualty coverages.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service at all times.
7. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your portfolio.
8. Collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to client service.
9. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes, ensuring our service offering remains competitive and relevant.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance industry.
2. Proven experience in account management, with a strong track record of client service excellence.
3. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property and casualty coverages.
4. Exceptional understanding of policy analysis, endorsements, and renewals.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
6. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
9. Proficiency in using standard office software and insurance-specific applications.
10. A relevant professional qualification in insurance would be a distinct advantage.
