We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of the accounting function in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and supply chain management, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing sector. Experience in the consumer product goods industry, retail, wholesale, and eCommerce is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Directing and overseeing all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the organization.
2. Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
3. Analyzing manufacturing costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
4. Ensuring compliance with international financial regulations and standards.
5. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Leading and managing the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
7. Coordinating activities of external auditors.
8. Participating in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
9. Working closely with the supply chain team to drive financial performance.
10. Providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree or CPA is a plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost accounting.
5. Prior experience in the consumer product goods industry, retail, wholesale, and eCommerce.
6. Strong understanding of supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
7. Ability to analyze manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
9. Strong communication and presentation skills.
10. Proficient in using financial software and MS Office.
