Our company is in search of a Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our vibrant team within the Finance industry. This role requires a unique blend of accounting knowledge, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills, offering a dynamic work environment and an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Consulting Accounting Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company's financial health. Your responsibilities will include
- Processing and recording transactions accurately and timely.
- Managing the full cycle of accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Maintaining an orderly accounting filing system.
- Providing clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
- Utilizing accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases to process financial data and create reports.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial entries, reports, and summaries.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Finance industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
