Rare leadership opportunity with long historied NorCal Heavy Civil General Contractor
Your new company
Our client is an established civil contractor who has been in the industry for over 50 years. They have multiple offices across Northern California, with a focus on CALTRANS projects. They self-perform all projects from highways, roads, paving, grading, and utilities works.
Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to move into a leadership role with an established, successful, and busy General Contractor that has an excellent reputation in delivering for clients, and cares about its staff.
Your day-to-day duties will consist of managing several large projects within your area, with values running into the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Reporting to the executive team, you will support bid opportunities, ensure quality control on projects, manage tight schedules and budgets, maintain relationships with project owners, inspect projects, and have direct responsibility for a large staff of Project Managers, Engineers and Superintendents.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 10 years of progressive career experience leading large, or multiple large, Heavy Civil construction projects, ideally within California. It would be advantageous if you have worked closely with CALTRANS.
You will be used to managing several projects concurrently or delivering to a major project from start to finish. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to manage several demanding stakeholders at any one time and have a leadership style that gets the job done, while developing and mentoring others.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive starting salary of between $170-225k, healthcare 100% paid by employer, 401k, PTO, bonuses and more. Relocation to the Bay Area may be provided for the right candidate.
