We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
- Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes

Skills:
- Strong communication skills: Personal Care Assistants must be able to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Empathy: It is important for Personal Care Assistants to have empathy for their clients' needs and be able to provide emotional support.
- Attention to detail: Personal Care Assistants must pay close attention to detail when assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
- Time management: Personal Care Assistants should be able to manage their time effectively in order to complete all assigned tasks within the designated timeframe.
- Physical stamina: This role may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Personal Care Assistants should have the physical stamina necessary to perform these tasks.
