JLD Management Group is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Hummelstown, PA
Summary
The AP Clerk processes all invoices and payments for multiple property locations from the Home Office. Receive and review all invoices that come into a central email or US Mail. Match invoices to packing slips, PO or WO as applies. Review invoices for accuracy, including sales taxability. Handle calls from vendors for payment status, review monthly statements, and maintain relationships with vendors to keep W-9 and Certificate of Insurance files current. Assist other JLD staff with assignments as needed.
Essential Functions
1. Pull invoices from central email or daily mail for coding and entry to Yardi.
2. Handle incoming vendor calls for updates on invoice and payment processing.
3. Review monthly vendor statements.
4. Assist with quarterly Reserve Requests of multiple properties and intercompany billings.
5. See that all vendors are entered properly into the system and process 1099s after the end of the year.
6. Assist with monthly/annual reporting and audit work.
Competencies
1. Understanding and technical capacity of the Accounts Payable process, including work with Microsoft products and accounting software. Familiarity with Yardi Voyager a plus.
2. Detailed and acumen for accuracy.
3. Strong work ethic and time management skills with the ability to work under deadline.
