Job Title : Customer ServiceRepresentative

Summary : This individual is responsible for handling allessential duties and responsibilities of inside sales and customerservice.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities : The essential dutiesand responsibilities of this position include the following (otherduties may beassigned) :

  • Buildingand maintaining excellent customerrelationships;
  • Responding to all customerinquiries and requests received via incoming phone calls faxesemails per customers time constraint;
  • Providinglimited technical assistance to customers (i.e. Part numberidentification and amp; clarification model code creation customerprint / drawing reading BOM assembly creationetc.);
  • Order entry (Manual website EDIAutoOrder);
  • Quotationentry;
  • RMA entry;
  • CreditMemo creation;
  • Issuing and completing vendorreturned goods authorizations;
  • Somefiling;
  • Purchasing including entering purchaseorders on vendors computer systems (TOPS PH ConnectExtranet);
  • Assisting outside sales personnelwith customer requests andquotations;
  • Supporting other departments withinTriad (internal customers);
  • Expediting customerorders on a daily basis;
  • Acting as liaisonbetween customers and vendors;
  • Handlingcustomer objectives and resolving customerproblems;
  • Taking ownership of customerorders / requests / problems from beginning toend;
  • Helping in building and maintaining vendorrelationships;
  • Ongoing training on products andservices provided by JKKN.
  • Customer visits asrequired;
  • Participation in efforts tostreamline and make departmental processesbetter;
  • Maintain professional pleasant demeanorwhen working with internal and externalcustomers.

  • Educationand / or Experience High School diploma and three ormore years of related workexperience.
  • ReasoningAbility Ability to define problems collect dataestablish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret anextensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical ordiagram form and deal with several abstract and concretevariables.
  • MathematicalSkills Ability to add subtract multiply and dividein all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions anddecimals.
  • LanguageSkills Ability to read and interpret documents suchas safety rules operating and maintenance instructions andprocedures manuals.

Ability to write routine and correspondencereports. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone andsmall group situations specifically to customers and otheremployees in theorganization.

ComputerSkills To perform this job successfully anindividual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel andOutlook.

Plus Commerce Centersoftware.

OtherQualifications :

  • Musthave excellent interpersonal and telephoneskills;
  • Ability to communicate clearlyaccurately effectively and professionally with customers vendorsand other Triad employees;
