Position: Customer Service Specialist
Position Type: Temp-Perm
Location: Hackettstown, NJ (100% onsite)
Hours: 9-5pm, Mon-Fri
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our client as a Customer Service Specialist. Our client prides itself on its engaging and goal-driven environment, and they are looking for someone who shares this passion.
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will process customer concerns and issues related to products or services. You will ultimately enhance the customer experience, help customers complete purchases, upgrades/returns, frequently provide necessary technical assistance, book service appointments, and promote customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to upsell services.
What the Customer Service Specialist does:
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Convert into booked appointments.
  • Look up customer accounts so you can respond to customer requests, resolve issues, and promote the brand.
  • Establish rapport and encourage repeat business through open and interactive solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adhere to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.
  • Maintain and update customer database with complete and accurate information.
  • Go the extra mile and engage the customer, upsell products or services to customers when appropriate.
What experience we are looking for:
  • High school degree
  • 3 years of relevant customer service experience, preferably with a small business
  • Desired industry experience: Any trades, plumbers, Hvac, electrician, technology, etc that is service oriented.
  • Proven track record with customer service skills and practices.
  • Have a good working understanding of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word), phone systems, technology, CRM.
  • Highly organized and exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Verbal and written communications.
  • Experience in an office environment, engaging personality, goal driven team player.
  • Exceptional phone manners and active listening skills.
  • Understand and embrace new technology.
  • Customer oriented, with the ability to demonstrate empathy, adaptability and respond to different situations accordingly.
